However, Jesse admits during their talk that he had had “three dots” tattoos on the back of his head and his face, which stood for his membership in a gang.

The video then delves into Jesse’s past as he recounts his upbringing in Los Angeles and journey from being a young offender to earning a degree from the prestigious UC Berkeley.

“My family had addictions rather than college degrees. Nobody attended college; instead, they were locked up, he says. Jesse confesses that at the age of 17, he joined a gang in the Los Angeles area and spent time in juvenile jail.

But after getting one of the highest GED scores while in the prison facility, Jesse’s life changed when he was “fortunate enough to be in an educational program.”

Jesse made the decision to improve his circumstances and applied to UC Berkeley and Duke, where he eventually earned a Ph.D. in political science. “You can sit out here in Fiji with a Ph.D. You can sit in juvenile jail with a tattoo on your face and the back of your head,” he claims.

Jesse Lopez was raised by his devoted parents in Venice, California, in the United States. He is the child of Mrs. and Mr. Lopez (the couple’s father) (mother). Jesse’s parents worked hard to provide for their family by putting food on the table.

The survey methodologist had a really colorful childhood growing up in a friendly neighborhood and he loved playing with other kids.

Regarding his educational background, Jesse attended Boy’s High School for his undergraduate studies, graduating with honors that allowed him to attend college. Later, he attended Duke and UC Berkeley, where he received his political science Ph.D.

The native Californian turned his life around from being a gang member in juvenile prison to becoming a proud homeowner and father of two. Jesse is a reality star in addition to being a survey methodologist.

He is, however, one of the contestants now taking part in an upcoming American reality series called Survivor.

Jesse Lopez Wife: Is He Married?

Jesse Lopez is a happily married man who has two children and a wonderful wife who is always there for him. Unfortunately, he hasn’t revealed the identity of his wife to the public.

He said that he enjoys playing chess with his son and joins his daughter in dance. When the dancer and chess player are asleep, his wife and he binge-watch shows which are his favorite hobbies.
